Honda Announces the Next Big Adventure Winners
Honda has posted the winners of the Next Big Adventure: Expedition Peru contest. The eight lucky riders will be joining Canadian Senior Marketing Manager Warren Millner on an expedition through Peru riding a fleet of Varaderos.
For seven days the winners will adventure ride through the Andes, along the shores of Lake Titicaca and take in the ruins of Manch Picchu. The contest included the challenge of a riding skills test on the Honda Varadero, which meant the bigger challenge of actually finding a Honda Powerhouse dealer. Reader feedback here in BC’s Lower Mainland was mixed as potential contestants had to travel to Salmon Arm, Nanaimo, Prince George or Fort St. John to enter. What’s an extra few 100kms drive in comparison for a chance to ride Peru though?

Between trying to actually find a Powerhouse Dealer, like you said, and then dealing with the unpleasantness of actually visiting one… I figure I’ll just fund my own trip south.
Well I can’t speak to the unpleasantness at the Powerhouses, but I’m more on an independent travel wavelength myself.
