Aether Chasing Winter

Submitted by on Monday, 24 June 20134 Comments

In early April, Aether Apparel (and friends) set out on an adventure, to Chase Winter. As the ski season was coming to an end and motorcycle riding season was just beginning, Aether co-founders Jonah Smith and Palmer West, took a trip to chase the last of the snow, up the Rockies. For a week, they rode from Telluride, CO to Jackson Hole, WY on fully-loaded BMW GSs, stopping at every major ski resort along the way. Their motorcycles were specially modified to carry ski gear, including one that was outfitted with an off-road sidecar rig. Their goal: to hit the last of the snow and the first of the open roads.

I’ll be able to do some street riding at the end of July, but will need to build back up to off-road.
